Hotels and Getaway is an advertising company, not a real estate agent or broker, so when you sell or rent your vacation property you’re not paying unnecessary and expensive broker fees or commissions. We do not have a specific buyer/renter at the present time.

DOES Hotels and Getaway PROVIDE ANY JURIDICAL ASSISTANCE TO INTERESTED BUYERS?

No. Hotels and Getaway does not offer any kind of juridical services. Hotels and Getaway is not involved in any negotiations for resale/rental, closing or procuring of buyers.

WHY DO WE PAY THE ADVERTISING FEE IN ADVANCE?

Hotels and Getaway’ accommodating advertising program encompasses pooling advertising resources with those of other sellers/leasers to maximize exposure to potential buyers/renters of your vacation property. Your vacation ownership will be visible to millions of potential buyers/renters as a result of Hotels and Getaway’ advertising program.

DO I NEED TO GET AN APPRAISAL?

No. You cannot appraise a week’s worth of time. Owners determine prices in accordance with the resort, location, size of unit, amenities, and the week that you desire to sale or rent. Prices advertised on Hotels and Getaway’s website are resale prices chosen by the current owners. Hotels and Getaway cannot make any representations as to the resale or rental price that you may receive.

IS Hotels and Getaway AFFILIATED WITH MY RESORT?

Hotels and Getaway is not affiliated with your resort, or any third party organizations. Hotels and Getaway is an independent corporation that focuses on the marketing and advertising of vacation ownership properties for owners.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SALE/RENT MY VACATION OWNERSHIP?

Hotels and Getaway cannot make any representation as to the period of time that it will take to resale or rent, or the success rate of our advertising program. The marketing period is largely affected by market conditions.

CAN I GET STATISTICS?

Because we are an advertising company and not involved in the resale or rental, nor the negotiations, we are unable to offer you statistics on the percentage of resales or rentals as a result of our advertising program. Our advertisers characteristically do not inform us when their vacation ownership has been sold or rented.

HOW LONG WILL MY VACATION OWNERSHIP BE ADVERTISED FOR SALE?

Hotels and Getaway will advertise until it has been sold or rented. Hotels and Getaway will assume that your ownership sells or rents within six months unless you advise us otherwise.

HOW LONG WILL MY VACATION OWNERSHIP BE ADVERTISED FOR RENT?

For as long as you own. Any year that you are not using your vacation ownership you can place an advertisement on our website to let the renters know your week is available. Hotels and Getaway does the additional advertising to draw the potential renters so they are able to view your advertisement and present you an offer.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Hotels and Getaway is an independent advertising company and is not affiliated with Your resort or any related or associated company of Your resort. During the term of this agreement, Hotels and Getaway shall only assist You in the advertising of Your vacation ownership by placing Your advertisement on our website on the internet and/or in other website/print media. Any response to your advertisement will come directly to you. It will be up to you whether to accept or reject any inquiry or offer pertaining to your vacation ownership/points/weeks.

Hotels and Getaway does not in any manner guarantee or promise You will get any response to Your advertisement, only that Hotels and Getaway will advertise Your vacation ownership on our website and/or other websites/print media. Hotels and Getaway will post/advertise Your vacation ownership/weeks/points for 180 days from the date of this contract. At the expiration of 180 days, Hotels and Getaway will discontinue Your post/advertising of Your vacation ownership/weeks/points, unless You notify us, in writing, at the address or email provided herein below, that Your vacation ownership/weeks/points has not been sold or rented during the preceding 180 days. Upon notification, in writing, before the expiration of the 180 day period that Your vacation ownership/weeks/points has not been sold or rented, Hotels and Getaway will continue to post/advertise Your vacation ownership/weeks/points for another 180 days at no additional charge, and will continue this process so long as you notify Hotels and Getaway, in writing before the end of any 180 day period that Your vacation ownership/weeks/points has not been sold or rented, all at no additional charge. Hotels and Getaway’s goal is to help You post/advertise the sale or rental of Your vacation ownership/weeks/points. Hotels and Getaway does not in any manner promise or guarantee that You will receive any offer/offers from Your post/advertising, only that Hotels and Getaway will post/advertise Your vacations ownership/points weeks as set forth herein.
Hotels and Getaway can guarantee You that if You can demonstrate in writing, that Your vacation ownership was sold/rented during the term of this contract by another company, advertiser, promoter, broker or real estate firm and that the other company, advertiser, promoter, broker or real estate firm charged the same initial price that You advertised Your vacation ownership with Hotels and Getaway and that You paid the other company, advertiser, promoter, broker, or real estate firm the same advertising fee as Hotels and Getaway and that the sale/rental of Your vacation ownership by another company, advertiser, promoter, broker, or real estate firm had nothing to do with Hotels and Getaway efforts in advertising Your vacation ownership on Your behalf, then Hotels and Getaway will refund Your advertising fee 100%.
Hotels and Getaway reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, and/or cancel advertisements in its discretion, including, without limitation, if Hotels and Getaway believes that customer conduct violates applicable law or is harmful to the interest of Hotels and Getaway and its subsidiaries.
Hotels and Getaway will provide resale advertising services pursuant to this contract. If Hotels and Getaway represents that Hotels and Getaway has identified a person who is interested in purchasing or renting your timeshare interest, then Hotels and Getaway must provide you with the name, address, and telephone number of such represented interested resale purchaser.
You have an unwaivable right to cancel this contract for any reason within ten days after the date you receive signed confirmation of this contract. If you decide to cancel this contract, you must notify Hotels and Getaway in writing of your intent to cancel. Your notice of cancellation shall be effective upon the date sent and shall be sent to: customerservice@hotelsandgetaway.com. Your refund will be made within 20 days after receipt of notice of cancellation or within 5 days after receipt of funds from your cleared check, whichever is later.
You are not obligated to pay any money unless you sign this contract and return it to Hotels and Getaway.
Important: Before signing this contract, you should carefully review your original timeshare purchase contract and other project documents to determine whether the developer has reserved a right of first refusal or other option to purchase your timeshare interest or to determine whether there are any restrictions or special conditions applicable to the resale or rental of your timeshare interest.
